This service allows for faster internet than your traditional cable modem or shared fiber system. This means faster and more reliable upload and download speeds.
Fiber to home internet is perfect for viewing streaming high quality (4K and higher) video from streaming services such as Netflix, Prime Video, Hulu and Disney+.

Cable Modem Solution
Privatel can deploy a cable modem solution throughout an institution.
The cable modem solution leverages existing coaxial cable and fiber optic infrastructure to deliver internet service to each resident.
Privatel’s modems allow for both a wired and wireless internet experience, as they have Wi-Fi routers built into them. Privatel also offers modems that allow for Voice Over IP (VOIP) capabilities.

Managed Wi-Fi
This internet solution will be a single unified network in which students can log onto the network using their school generated user IDs, and passwords.
One of the key components of the Privatel solution is that we dynamically assign each student and their personal devices a private VLAN. This solution allows for a convenient, single sign-on experience.
This unique system design allows for greater security and a more “home” Wi-Fi experience. This solution will support Wi-Fi calling, IPV-6, and allow students to stream, game, and research with a High-Speed connection.
The VLAN allows residents to do things such as use their wireless printers, gaming systems, tablets, watches, smartphones, casting devices (Roku, Amazon Fire Stick, etc.) to their screens and control devices such as Alexa. Every device registered by the student is placed on their private VLAN.
