This streaming service leverages an existing data network to deliver the service to resident students in high definition (HD) content. We pull programming feeds via satellite so there is no impact on outside public bandwidth as the programming originates on campus.

Since the system is utilizing the existing data network, it is a secure connection for residents to use. 

Programming is distributed in a wireless-friendly adaptive bitrate format. The LAN-based broadcast uses onsite equipment and eliminates the costly internet bandwidth required by most over the top services.

The service will be available in all buildings that are on the University Data Network – this includes all the residence halls, lounges, common areas and all other buildings that are on the University Data Network.
